Overview

Chandara is a boutique collection of four luxury villas on Koh Samui's serene northeast coast — just 1 km from the white sand of Choeng Mon Beach, 14 minutes from the airport. A quiet dead-end street, four villas, no further construction possible. Each villa offers 360 sqm across two levels, on plots from 460 to 508 sqm, with three ensuite bedrooms, a 9 × 3.5 m private Balinese stone pool, and carefully considered tropical gardens.

The brief was written with three kinds of owner in mind: a retirement home, a holiday residence, or a rental investment — which is why every villa is offered with both freehold and leasehold ownership options. Starting from THB 19,000,000 (approx. EUR 500,000 / USD 580,000).

Architecture

The four villas sit in mirrored pairs either side of a shared entrance drive, each on its own 460–508 sqm plot with a 360 sqm build — close enough to share infrastructure and privacy screening, far enough apart that no villa overlooks another. The architectural language is modern tropical: low rooflines, deep overhangs, full-height glazing on the garden-facing elevations, and Samui stone accents throughout.

Interior Design

Living and dining share one 70 sqm open volume under a 6-metre ceiling, with 3-metre folding windows that open the space fully to the garden and pool, and a mezzanine lounge tucked above the kitchen. The material palette stays consistent throughout — tropical wood and Samui stone, paired with a large American-style open kitchen, pantry and laundry.

The 45 sqm master suite opens directly onto the pool terrace, with a walk-in closet and outdoor tropical bath. Guest Bedroom 1 adds 43 sqm with a private balcony overlooking the pool; Guest Bedroom 2 offers 36 sqm with its own balcony. Every bedroom in the villa gets its own outdoor space — never just a window.

Each villa has its own 9 × 3.5 m Balinese stone swimming pool (saltwater chlorinator), 40 sqm of covered terraces, and a separate entrance patio screened by high walls and mature planting. Parking is sized for two cars (6.4 × 6 m), and every garden is planted as a private tropical retreat — never a shared landscape feature.

Materials & Finishes

Interior floors in 60 × 60 cm matte porcelain throughout. Bathroom floors and walls in 30 × 60 cm matte grey porcelain, floor to ceiling. Swimming pool in 10 × 10 cm Bali natural stone mosaic with saltwater chlorinator. Doors in treated natural teak, natural tint finish. Windows and openings in anodised aluminium bi-fold frames, 3 m high folding panels in the living area. Railings in 10 mm clear tempered glass. All bedrooms with inverter split-unit air conditioning; 52-inch ceiling fans in living areas and terraces. Private deep well water supply with 4-layer filtration and 3,000 L storage tank. USB-C fast-charge ports in every bedroom.
